MERSC, a nonprofit professional association, is dedicated to the support of Employee Clubs and Employee Activities Committees through networking opportunities, venue visits for company group events and club resource information.

Corporate employee clubs vary widely in management and size. Many clubs are made up of a group of employees who volunteer their time to the employee club. Other clubs are made up of employees who are elected or appointed to serve on the club. Employee clubs: plan company events such as the company picnic and holiday event, organize company sports teams, host on-site vendor shows, arrange fitness activities and more.

An employee club may be included in an overall Employee Services Program which includes programs to enhance employee well being and morale. Employee Services Programs* may include:

  • Health and wellness programs
  • Recognitions and service award programs
  • Special interest clubs
  • Employee stores
  • On-site Fitness Clubs & Classes
  • On-site childcare
  • Concierge services
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Employee Clubs
  • Other

* These programs may be outsourced to other companies but are provided on-site.
